Audition forms will need to be filled out prior to 6:30p.m. The forms will be available as early as 5:50p.m. There are 3 parts to the audition.
Music – Please prepare a song to sing, no more than 1 minute. There will be no live piano accompanist. There will be a Bluetooth speaker available or you may bring your own electronic device for instrumental background. Choose a song that fits your voice best. It is recommended to choose a song in the style of the show, such as a Disney song, Broadway musical song, etc.
Movement – This is for choreographic purposes and will be very simple steps (don’t worry if you’re not a dancer, remember we are dogs in the show!) Bring jazz shoes, or closed toe shoes, no open sandals. If you have dance experience, you may be asked to do additional movements.
Cold Script Readings (Optional) – This part of the audition is optional for those children who would like to be considered for a speaking role. We are looking for animated voices with personalities.
** Some children may be asked to sing/read an additional part from the show after cold readings.
